What is Microneedling?
Also known as “collagen induction therapy,” microneedling is an advanced skin treatment that reduces minor flaws and signs of aging. What Happens During a Vivace™ Microneedling Treatment?
Thirty to 45 minutes before the treatment, we numb your skin with a topical. The Vivace™ has a microcontroller extending 36 needles and delivering the radiofrequency pulse. You may feel a slight pressure and tingling sensation. The treatment takes 45 minutes to one hour.
PRP and other serums can be applied to the skin to boost the benefits of microneedling with radio frequency energy. PRP contains growth factors that stimulate cell development. The serums may add hydration, antioxidants and other key nutrients that your skin needs to look its best.
What Can I Expect from a Microneedling Treatment?
Your skin may have a pinkish appearance after the treatment. Apart from any recovery serums we provide, you should not use makeup or other skin products for at least six hours. Optimal results are typically seen with three microneedling treatments that are administered every four to six weeks.
